Settlement During Trial

Our client, a 62-year-old, was hit from behind while driving. He was admitted into the hospital complaining of pain in his head and neck. He had had three prior injuries to his neck and back with recommendations of surgery to repair the injuries, which made this case extremely challenging to bring to trial.  In addition, our client did not have the surgery for his injuries incurred while driving until four years after this accident. We were able to get the insurance company for the driver at fault to pay $800,000 while we were in the middle of the trial.
